Margaret Mulherin (Peggy) Muller

Margaret Mulherin (Peggy) Muller died peacefully at her home on Tybee Island surrounded by her family on April 6, 2016. She was born in Augusta, GA on January 10, 1932 and moved to Savannah at age one. She graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy and the College of Mount St. Vincent’s in New York.

She was actively involved in her faith by volunteering at Blessed Sacrament school and parish, Benedictine Military School and St. Michael’s parish. She was a devoted mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walter J. Muller Jr, her four children, Walter J. Muller III (LeeAnn) of Sandy Springs, GA; John H. Muller (Laura) of Concord, MA; Margaret M. Crawford (Steve) of Decatur, GA; and James R. Muller (Dena) of Decatur, GA. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Charlotte, Jack, Walt, Margaret, Patrick, Rourke, Grace Anne, Conlin, Ava, Eilise, and Max. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, J. Harold Mulherin Sr. and Margaret Haslam Mulherin, her sister, Jane Mulherin Lyons and brother, J. Harold Mulherin Jr.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Burial will follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
